"Seems like a solid reputation"
I haven’t actually gone there myself, so I’m mostly basing this on what I’ve heard from other people. But Rasmussen seems to come up a lot, and the programs sound fairly well known. I figure if people keep talking about it in a positive way, there’s probably something good going on there.

"Getting help was way more frustrating than it should’ve been"
I had a rough experience with student support. Whenever I needed help, calls and emails took forever to get a response — and even when someone finally did reply, I usually just got passed off to another person. It really felt like no one actually knew what was going on with my account. Most of the time, I ended up figuring things out on my own, which was frustrating, especially considering how much I was paying. Definitely not what I expected.

"Career services actually helped me out"
I went to career services for help with my resume, and they made it a lot better. They pointed out stuff I probably wouldn’t have noticed on my own, like wording and layout and just... yeah. It was a helpful experience overall

"Honestly, I regret enrolling here"
I really didn’t feel supported during my time here, and it left me disappointed. I kept expecting things to get better, but they just didn’t. For the money and effort you put in, you’d think there would be more guidance or help available, make it make sense. i regret enrolling.

"Helpful faculty, but instructions could be clearer"
My instructors were really helpful and easy to reach whenever I had questions. They explained things in a way that actually made sense and never made me feel awkward for asking. I really appreciated that support. The only thing I would’ve liked is clearer instructions upfront on some assignments or next steps, but overall I had a good experience.

"Felt like emailing a robot"
I had to send multiple emails just to get answers to basic questions. The replies were slow, and when they finally came, they often felt like some canned response from a robot that didn’t actually read what I asked. It got frustrating fast, honestly.

"My experience with Rasmussen’s financial aid office..."
My experience with Rasmussen’s financial aid office was okay overall. They did help me sort out my FAFSA and pointed out which documents I still needed to turn in, so I appreciated that part. It just took a few phone calls before I felt like I was getting a consistent answer.
Some of the staff were really kind and patient, while others seemed like they were trying to rush through the call. Everything did get handled in the end, but my advice is to write down who you spoke with, keep track of what they tell you, and don’t be afraid to call back if something doesn’t sound clear.

"Some of the labs were actually useful, but..."
Some of the labs were actually useful, but the whole thing felt rushed as hell. It wasn’t terrible, just kind of half-baked and a bit frustrating.
"Enrollment advising wasn’t exactly helpful"
My advisor kept pushing me to enroll, but they didn’t really answer none of my basic questions. It felt like they cared more about getting me signed up than making sure I actually understood what I was getting into...

"I assumed the grading would be straightforward..."
I assumed the grading would be straightforward, and some of it was fair, but a few scores felt kind of random. Maybe I’m missing something, but it didn’t always seem consistent.

"Admissions was honestly easy for me"
I know everyone’s experience can be different, but for me, admissions was straightforward. They helped me get started quickly, and I really don’t have anything bad to say about that part
"Helpful with all the graduation stuff"
I was getting ready to graduate and had a million little things on my mind, on top of work and trying not to forget basic stuff like grocery shopping. Rasmussen was helpful through the whole process. The advisors answered my questions and helped me stay on top of the forms, dates, and whatever else needed to be done. A few replies took longer than I would’ve liked, but nothing that totally threw me off. Overall, I felt supported and made it through everything just fine.

"Fair Billing, Could Use Earlier Reminders"
The billing was straightforward, which I really appreciated. There weren’t any strange or unfair charges, that’s just the decent way to treat customers. My only small complaint is that I wish the payment reminders came a bit sooner so it’s easier to stay on top of things.

"Advising was fine, just a little slow"
My advisor was nice and did help me figure out which classes to take, so that part was fine. The only thing was the response time was kind of slow sometimes, and I had to follow up more than once, which was totally okay, I guess... just a bit frustrating. Overall it wasn’t a bad experience, I just think the advising could be a little more organized.

"When I first started the transfer credit..."
When I first started the transfer credit process at Rasmussen College, I thought it would be straightforward. During the first couple of weeks, I kept getting asked for documents I had already sent in, which got frustrating fast. By the time I finally started getting answers, several weeks had gone by, and some of the credits I assumed would transfer didn’t end up counting. I just wish someone had explained the reasoning more clearly along the way. The staff I talked to were polite, so it wasn’t a terrible experience, but the whole process felt a little disorganized and slower than it should’ve been...
"Helpful clinical placement support"
Looking back, the clinical placement support was helpful overall. I remember having a bunch of questions along the way, and they were good about getting back to me and keeping me in the loop. It wasn’t totally smooth every single moment, but from what I remember, they really did help make the process feel less stressful and helped me get things sorted out.

"Decent online classes, but the tech issues need to be made right"
Overall, the online classes were easy to follow, and most of the teachers got back to me quickly when I had questions. That part was definitely a plus. But there were a few annoying tech issues here and there that made things frustrating, especially when they interrupted class or made it harder to keep up. I’m hoping the school offers some kind of credit or compensation for the hassle, because it did affect the experience

"The workload got overwhelming fast"
The classes themselves were fine, but the weekly assignments started stacking up really quickly. If you’re working or have kids, it can be a lot to keep up with. Some weeks I was just looking at the amount of work like, make it make sense, because there’s only so much time in a day.

"I spent some time looking through the site..."
I spent some time looking through the site, but I still didn’t come away feeling fully confident about the accreditation information. It might be listed somewhere, but I was expecting clearer instructions or a more straightforward explanation of what’s accredited and what that means. It made me pause and second guess whether I should apply...
